“All my work starts by finding vintage books that inspire me with their age, patina, text, images and other special markings made by previous owners. I use the covers and pages as materials, while scanning my favorite images into my computer often to be digitally manipulated and printed multiple times on various papers. I attempt to create ambient layers that hold an enigmatic past and invoke spiritual wonder. My completed artworks are the result of experimentation and intuitive vision.”
