The Egun Omode Performing Arts Collective is a West African dance, drum, sekere, folklore ensemble. Egun Omode (Children of the Ancestors) is the only professional youth Sekere/folkloric ensemble in the country. They are dedicated to the forward movement of our community/culture and the intergenerational transmission of culture to our youth! They perform throughout the east coast and are based in SW Atlanta, GA. Their riveting performances and workshops give audiences a tangible glimpse at culture. They look forward to building further connections with our community.
