Originally from Nigeria, West Africa, Tosin Taiwo, aka Tosinger, is a seasoned singer, actress, and storyteller with over 15 years of performance experience. She is a vibrant contributor to the arts and culture scene in Atlanta. Tosinger has performed at the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival, Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival, Inman Park Festival, High Museum of Art, Zoo Atlanta and more. Her passion lies in preserving the culture of African oral storytelling in the diaspora. She has a ‘Tales with Tosinger’ YouTube channel, ‘Daily Yoruba Proverbs and Sayings’ on TikTok and her book, ‘Seven Afrofolk in Seven Days,’ is available on Amazon. Additionally, she hosts the ‘Linkages’ storytelling segment on the African Experience Worldwide Show on WRFG 89.3 FM Atlanta.
