Hannah Helton (b. 1988) is a self-taught interdisciplinary artist living and working in Atlanta. Helton’s work untangles the human desire to make sense of the chaos of nature, the possibility of redemption through total rupture, and the hyper-personal perspectives within moralistic myth and storytelling. Through dynamic material play, the hand remains visible and present across media, and the crude and nasty are elevated to a state of grace.
