Children’s Book Illustrators Gallery Show

The Southern Breeze Chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators hosts its annual gallery show at the Decatur Library. The exhibit focuses on children’s book illustration and the power of visual art and the written word in storytelling. The illustrations on display are accompanied by a copy of the book or publication in which the art appears. The show runs through June 30 in the main lobby of the Decatur Library.

The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to support the creation and availability of quality children’s books around the world. The Southern Breeze Chapter covers Alabama, Georgia, and the Florida panhandle. Visit scbwi.org to learn more.
